Bio

Carl works as a User Experience Designer at Viz.

He has a BA in Theater & Dance and Computer Science from Amherst College and Masters in Human-Computer Interaction from Carnegie Mellon. He's worked all over the place: bailing hay on a farm in Sweden, studying mathematics in Hungary, teaching kids about the world as a nature instructor, designing lights for an opera in Italy, guiding Amherst College's technology strategy as the Kermes Fellow, and developing interfaces for Cognitive Tutors used in classroom research studies.
